“THE PHYSICALITY OF THE DIGITAL”

“The Physicality of the Digital” explores the blurred lines and evolving relationship between physical and digital art.

In 2023, there are an exponential number of ways to create with purely digital means. However, these 10 artists in this exhibition choose to maintain elements of their traditional practice, carefully and intentionally blending them into the digital world.

Through a combination of static and moving imagery, these artists have remixed multiple genres to develop their signature style and body of work, each challenging the viewers’ perceptions in a unique way.

The works span across the mediums of abstract painting, illustration, video, animation, and collage. The exhibit calls to those who are passionate about the details & experimental approaches, bringing the viewer closer to the process, and the complex relationship between the physical and digital realms.
